Special Event: Family Day on the North Santiam (Packsaddle to Mill City)
A collaboration with: eNRG Kayaking
Date: Saturday, August 19, 2 pm launch time
Gather the kids, the in-laws, or your neighbors and join us for a family-friendly day on the North Santiam. We’ll be running the Packsaddle to Mill City stretch, which is rated Class II-III+ on American Whitewater.
We’re imagining this excursion as a way for club members to share the river in a safe and supported way with friends and family.
Options for participating include:
On your own / at your own risk: Club members and their guests are welcome to navigate the river independently in their craft of choice. IKs, kayaks, canoes and SUPs are all welcome.
As a passenger in a raft: eNRG Kayaking will offer raft guiding services for up to 24 people on their rafts, which seat six. Spots on the raft cost $35 per person. Children must be at least 9 years old to participate, and at least one adult must accompany any child in the raft.
To reserve spots in the raft, please select the quantity you’ll need below. If you or your guests don’t plan to ride in the raft, you can just save the date for now. We’ll send additional information about this fun day to all club members as we get closer to the event.
