LCCC Safety Series: Prevention with Lee Baker

River rescue tends to emphasize what to do after things gone, but a far richer vein for boaters to develop is how to keep things from going wrong. In this Zoom, Lee Baker discussed approaches to river running that prevent “incidents”, so we can have those days when nothing happens, no one gets hurt, and we finish the run with smiles and satisfaction.

You can watch a recording of Lee’s talk and presentation on the LCCC’s YouTube channel. .

Later this season Lee will be teaching the LCCC’s annual Swiftwater Rescue certification course, so that members can practice wading, swimming and ropework. Visit Gradient River Essentials for more about his offerings.
