As always, the Winter Party will include food, awards, prizes, a fun river-themed quiz, event announcements, and a vote for the club’s board. This is typically our largest and most social gathering of the year, and we hope you’ll be able to join us.

To help us plan ahead and ensure enough pizza for everyone, please RSVP directly to Bruce RV998HG@gmail.com by January 21. If you have pictures or videos to share it’s to too late to send those to Bruce as well.

This year, we will also feature a short presentation by Western Rivers Conservancy. They work to protect the West’s finest rivers and streams by purchasing and conserving land along waterways to improve habitat for fish and wildlife, safeguard critical cold-water sources, and ensure public access for all. Their motto says it best: “Sometimes to save a river, you have to buy it.”

To support this important conservation work, we suggest a voluntary donation of $5–$10. Donations may be made in cash at the event, or via a QR code at the check-in table that can be scanned using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a stored credit card. Donations are entirely optional, and any contribution is greatly appreciated.

We’ll also be holding our Annual Board Elections at the Winter Party.
