the LCCC Canoe Library

Not our canoes. This sculpture is in Lewiston, Idaho, photo by TG.

The LCCC has nine (or more now!) donated canoes that members can borrow. Most of them are better for mellow water, but we have one real whitewater tandem canoe and three whitewater solos. Many thanks to the members who've donated boats, paddles, flotation bags, and outfitting. If you find yourself wondering what to do with your old canoe, talk to me and we'll see if it is a good fit with our club and existing fleet.

We have a couple of kevlar Millbrook canoes including a Hooter (slalom boat) and a Defiant. Members who want to sharpen their skills are welcome to take these to slalom competitions in the NW slalom circuit.

Millbrooks (ours) and a Condor (Pat’s)

Eric and Will arrange the canoe stack.

You can borrow a boat for a day, a weekend, or longer depending on the demand. We've had members borrow boats for a couple of months while they are looking for a boat to buy. If you're in the mood to borrow, get ahold of me. Visiting members welcomed!
