Don't let the first day of 2026 get by you without dipping your paddle in the water.  The traditional LCCC New Year's Day Paddle is your perfect opportunity to get off the couch and work off a few of the holiday calories. 

We'll target a class 2ish run, such as the Washougal, Dodge to Oxbow on the Sandy, or the lower Molalla (only if we do a preliminary exploratory paddle to check the wood!).  I will choose one a day or two before based on variables including flows and weather. 

The day will include lunch on the river as well as sharing snacks and something to drink at the takeout.  Hot tea is often very popular.  Bring mugs, chairs and collapsible tables.  We'll have a pop up shelter and a propane heater to help take the chill off.
